Terms of Service
The agreement covering your use of this site and of the private resource library.
Effective 13 August 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms are an agreement between you and Foundational Intelligence™ Labs ("we", "us") governing your use of fi-labs.ai and everything on it (the "Site"), including the private resource library at /resources (the "Library").
By using the Site, or by signing in to the Library, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site. Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.
2. Eligibility and access
The Library is private. Access is by invitation, granted at our sole discretion to addresses we add to an approved list, and may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time, with or without notice, and without any obligation to give a reason.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Access is personal to you. Do not share your sign-in, and do not let anyone else use your access.
3. Signing in with Google
Signing in uses Google. When you authorise it, Google confirms your identity to us and provides your email address, name and profile picture. We use these to decide whether you are on the approved list, to show you which account you are signed in as, and to keep a record of sign-ins.
What you are authorising. You confirm that the Google account you use is yours, and you consent to our receiving and using your email address, name and profile picture for the purposes described here and in the Privacy Policy.
We never receive your Google password, and we have no access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Photos or contacts. You may withdraw the permission at any time through your Google account settings; doing so ends your access to the Library.
Your use of Google's services is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Google's services, or for any interruption or failure of them.
4. What you may do with the material
While your access is valid, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and download Library material for your own professional development and internal coaching practice.
You may not:
- republish, post, sell, licence or otherwise distribute the material, in whole or in part;
- share it with anyone who has not been granted their own access;
- remove or obscure any credit, trade mark or notice, or present the material as your own;
- use it to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine learning or artificial intelligence system;
- use it to build a competing product or programme.
All content, including the Foundational Intelligence™ framework and all documents in the Library, remains our property or that of our licensors. Nothing here transfers ownership.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- circumvent, disable or probe any access control, authentication or security measure;
- access any account, data or part of the Site you have not been authorised to access;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Site or the Library by automated means;
- interfere with the Site's operation, including by overwhelming it with requests;
- upload anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory or malicious;
- use the Site to break any applicable law.
6. Communications
By holding access or contacting us, you agree that we may send you messages needed to operate the service — for example, confirming access or notifying you of changes to these Terms. Promotional messages are sent only where you have consented to them or the law otherwise permits, and every one carries an unsubscribe link. Opting out of promotional messages does not affect your access. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the library are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any content is accurate, complete or current.
The material is educational. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical or psychological advice, and it does not create any professional relationship between us. Decisions you take on the strength of it are yours.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, however caused and on any theory of liability, even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.
This includes, without limitation, any claim arising from or relating to your use of the Site or the Library; our receipt, storage or use of your email address, name or profile picture obtained through Google Sign-In; any communication we send you; any unauthorised access to or alteration of your information; any interruption, suspension or withdrawal of access; and any act or omission of Google, Vercel or any other third-party provider.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site or the Library will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that applies to you, these exclusions and limitations apply only so far as that law permits, and nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Foundational Intelligence™ Labs, its owners, officers and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your use of the Site or the Library, your breach of these Terms, your infringement of anyone's rights, or your distribution of Library material to a person not entitled to it.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Site at any time and ask us to remove your address from the approved list. Sections 4 through 9, 11 and 12 survive termination.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
12. General
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Site. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest continues in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement; we may, on notice, to a successor in our business.
We may change these Terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed materially, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms go to privacy@fi-labs.ai, or use the contact form.
